Maritime transport is globally increasing and accounts for a significant share of global greenhouse gas emissions: 1,056 million tonnes of CO2 in 2018, or around 2.89% of total global anthropogenic CO2 emissions for the same year.
Like in many other countries, French and Finnish marine industries are therefore committed to decrease emissions as well as to contribute in reducing their logistics and industrial ecosystems’ footprint.
