Polish seaports are undergoing numerous developments aimed at increasing handling capacity, modernizing infrastructure and improving operational efficiency. Their main strategies and action plans cover areas where Finland has a competitive offering, such as automation, digitalization and green transition. There is a window of opportunity for Finnish companies to seek new partnerships and business in the nearby Polish market.

Polish ports indicate continuous improvement of their competitive position on a national, Baltic and European scale as their goals and priorities. They express the desire to improve the quality of the service offered by implementing, among others, new technologies, ensuring modern and low-failure infrastructure and technical suprastructure, using innovative, automatized and digitalized solutions.

Ports emphasize the need to adapt technologies and services to the requirements of climate and environmental protection. There are numerous ongoing and planned investment projects which are in line with Finnish offering.

Team Finland warmly welcomes you to this Polish maritime market update.
