A Norwegian Offshore Wind delegation will visit Finland in September. In connection with the visit, Business Finland in cooperation with the Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), Finnish Wind Power Association and Norwegian Embassy is organizing a seminar and matchmaking event on Monday, September 4, 2023 at 13:30 – 17:00 at Team Finland House, Porkkalankatu 1.
Energy security is one of the most important issues raised by all the countries in the Baltic region. Development of offshore wind is the key not only to reaching the increased power demand and climate goals but also an important step towards strengthening energy independence. The Norwegian delegation will visit Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius to meet the developers, key stakeholders for offshore wind development, the main industry leaders and policy makers.
Norway’s long experience from the maritime and oil and gas industries have given rise to the development of innovative world-class solutions for the offshore wind sector, making Norway one of the leaders on the world offshore wind arena.
We are happy to invite you to an event where Norwegian and Finnish experiences in offshore wind can be shared and new business relations may be established. The seminar is followed by B2B meetings with the representatives of the Norwegian companies which are willing to become your project partners in offshore projects in Finland and Norway, on other markets in the Baltic region, and worldwide.
