Business Finland and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland are jointly organising an Information Session about how to utilize AfDB financing to do business in Africa.
The African Development Bank (AfDB), established in 1964, aims to reduce poverty and promote economic and social development in Africa. It provides loans and technical expertise to African governments and invests in private companies operating in Africa. AfDB’s major role is to contribute to the economic and social progress of its regional member countries. Finland is a member country of the AfDB.
The infrastructure sector, including energy, water and sanitation and transport as well as agriculture, have traditionally received the largest share of AfDB lending and are priority areas for AfDB.
