Finland is organizing a foodtech and health focused promotion and matchmaking session in the International Jiangsu Industry-Academia Cooperation Conference 2024 that combines two former events, national level industry-academia conference and international CITTC (China International Technology Transfer Conference) together into a new large, international event focusing on both business and innovation areas.

The event takes place in Nanjing, China on 11-12 September 2024 with an opening ceremony on 11 September morning at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center (No. 88, Longpan Road, Xuanwu District) and matchmaking sessions, including the Finnish one, on 12 September morning at the Jinling Hotel (No. 2, Hanzhong Road, Gulou District). Furthermore, different site visits in Jiangsu are planned on both afternoons.

The Finland organized promotion and matchmaking session provides Finnish companies and organizations opportunities in establishing new business and innovation cooperation with Jiangsu counterparts. Why Jiangsu? Jiangsu is strong in both of the main focus themes of the session, namely foodtech and health. Moreover, Jiangsu is also part of the Yangtze River Delta area, which consists of the wealthiest, most innovative, and most advanced provinces in China; this is why majority of the around 250 Finnish companies in China have landed in the Yangtze River Delta area.
