Business Finland, in collaboration with Business Sweden and the Embassy of Denmark in Korea, is organizing the joint Nordic Food & Beverage Days trade mission to Seoul. This visit will include B2B matchmaking meetings in cooperation with KITA (Korea Import Trade Association) to target Korean buyers, a comprehensive introduction to the Korean market, and study visits to retail stores categorized by product type.
Over the past eight years, the Food from Finland program has significantly boosted the global trade of the Finnish food industry. Although the program concluded successfully in 2023, the Nordic F&B Days aims to identify new potential buyers, maintain relationships with existing partners, and engage with major market players continuously.
Participants will also have the option to extend their stay and arrange separate meetings with Business Finland Korea to discuss future steps.
All participants will have a one-on-one online meeting with Business Finland South Korea in the second week of August to discuss their target buyers, demands, and goals for this visit.
This visit is aimed at Finnish food manufacturers, specifically those involved in:
To cover the expenses of arranging the trade mission program, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the delegate nor meals outside the trade mission program.
In order for the visit to take place, at least seven companies must register.
Depending on the operating expenses and recruitment status in the three participating countries, this event may be canceled in mid-August. However, if Finnish companies are willing to send product samples, Business Finland will organize a showcase event instead and inform you separately.
