Taiwan is a sizable market (23.5 million) in the Asia Pacific known for its advanced semiconductors and strong industrial clusters. Taiwan also has healthy economic outlook and its GDP per capita is already as high as in South-Korea and Japan. Taiwan consistently ranks in the top 10-15 places worldwide on easiness of doing business.

In the recent years, Taiwanese companies have been actively started to search for new markets and investment destinations also in Europe. Meanwhile, Taiwanese SMEs are heavily investing in digital transformation and advanced manufacturing systems to improve their competitiveness on a global scale. They are also looking for new solutions and services to reduce their emissions and energy consumption as well as lower their operational costs.

Business Finland invites Finnish industrial companies to a webinar to learn more about what Taiwan has to offer.
