The Team Finland network China is organizing a local business delegation visit to Guangdong Province (Guangzhou and Shenzhen) on 15 - 17 April 2024, led by Ms. Leena-Kaisa Mikkola, Ambassador of Finland to China. The focus of this visit is Industrial Digitalization, Health, Energy, Sustainable packaging and Food.
Guangdong Province is China’s biggest province in terms of the size in GDP, trade, FDI and population. Guangdong is the leading province for foreign trade in the country, taking up close to one fifth of China's total. As one of the most important manufacturing bases of China, Guangdong has been home to the largest number of industrial companies and hosts 64 out of China’s top 500 industrial enterprises.
There has already been successful cooperation with some Finnish companies in Guangdong and the region has a big potential from which Finnish companies can benefit further. This upcoming visit will explore more business opportunities in focus areas.
Who should attend?
This visit is mainly aimed for Finnish companies that are already present in China and have products/solutions/services for Industrial Digitalization (incl. smart manufacturing, ICT), Health, Energy, Sustainable Packaging, and Food.
Kindly note, that if the participating company is not a Finnish company, participation requires that the Finnish company whose interests the Chinese company is representing as well as the relationship between the two companies, is specified in the registration form.
Practicalities
To cover the expenses of arranging this visit, Business Finland will charge a participation fee based on actual costs. The participation fee will be charged after the visit when the costs are known. The estimated participation fee is max. 800 RMB/person. The price is subject to surcharges. See more information in the registration link.
