Business Finland, in cooperation with leading pharmaceutical companies Roche and Novartis, organizes a delegation visit to the companies' headquarters in Basel. The goal is to present Finland's unique innovation ecosystem, registers, biobanks and top research. The purpose of the visit is to attract investments to Finland, promote clinical trials, and strengthen research cooperation with these international operators. The visit will take place on October 28-29, and is led by Dr. Päivi Sillanaukee, Special Envoy for Health & Wellbeing, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
This is a unique meeting forum between key personnel from Novartis and Roche headquarters to strengthen cooperation between Finnish and Swiss companies and to find new business opportunities for Finnish companies.
Who Should attend?
The visit is tailored for Finnish companies that have export solutions for cancer or neurological indications and/or are looking for partnerships with Roche and/or Novartis.
The delegation size is limited on first come first served basis. We welcome one representative per company.
To cover the expenses, Business Finland will charge a participation fee for arrangements in Switzerland on 28-29 October 2024.
- Major companies: 520 EUR + VAT 25.5% per person
- SMEs and Micro businesses: 450 EUR + VAT 25.5% per person
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
