USA is currently leading quantum technology revolution with significant contributions to research, investments, and private sector development and it continues to harness quantum computing’s potential in various sectors.
Investments to quantum tech start-ups in 2022 summed up to $2,35 billion. The National Quantum Initiative Act of 2018 has strengthened Quantum Information Science R&D. The Quantum Computing innovation and trade mission to US is a great chance to explore the research market, build local networks and create further cooperation with the United States.

Please note that the Quantum World Congress is taking place the same week in Tyson, Virginia (9-11 September) as well as the Global Quantum Strategies Overview 2024 Event in Johns Hopkins University (8 September). These events can easily be combined with the trade and innovation mission (at own cost). Practicalities & Participation fee
To cover the expenses of arranging the business delegation program, the organizers will charge a participation fee.
- Major Companies: 550 EUR + 24% VAT per person
- Micro Businesses and SMEs: 480 EUR + 24% VAT per person
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the delegate nor meals outside the delegation program.
