Team Finland, together with VASEK (Vaasa Regional and Business Development company) and Danish Maritime have the pleasure of inviting Finnish companies to meet stakeholders related to both offshore wind, ports, shipyards and vessel operation in Denmark on 6-8 May 2024.
The visit program will be arranged based on company feedback and can include Danish maritime companies, research institutions and universities in the Esbjerg and greater Copenhagen area and focus on establishing potential partnerships with private, public and research institutions within shipbuilding, alternative fuels & engines, vessel operation, electrification and energy storage, ICT & digital resilience, offshore wind and port operations.

Meetings and visits to the Danish frontrunners in the Offshore Wind and Blue Denmark value chains, i.e., EPC contractors, turbine manufacturers, O&M service providers, shipbuilders and shipowners, Port owners, SME Shippers, Ship logistics and Turnkey Contractors, Bunker suppliers, Key Vendors, Marine Dealers, Ship designers, so on and so forth.

Companies and R&D organizations dealing within Offshore Wind, Shipbuilding and Maritime ICT solutions, who are interested to develop collaboration within the thematic areas of alternative fuels & engines, storage, electrification, ICT & naval security with Danish companies, research organisations and universities.
Practicalities
To cover the expenses of arranging (local transportation and meals included in the delegation program) the visit to Denmark during 6-8 May 2024, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice participating companies after the visit. The fee will be based on actual costs but not exceed the sum mentioned below.
- SMEs Micro Businesses: EUR 750 + 24% VAT
- Major Companies: EUR 880 + 24% VAT
Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
Please note that due to large demand, we have to limit participation to max 2. Person per company. Spots will be handled on a first come first served basis.
