Business Finland is organizing a trade mission to Jiangsu province (Nanjing and Suzhou) on 19 - 20 September 2024. The focus of this visit is pharmaceutical and bio-medicine sectors.

Business Finland plans to organize matchmaking seminars and visits with local hospitals and pharma, and biomedicine companies.

The Yangtze River Delta Economic Belt Region (where Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai are located) ranks first in China’s pharmaceutical and bio-medicine innovations. The region has the greatest number of companies and the best eco-system pharma and biomedicine sectors.

Jiangsu Province, located in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, is one of the provinces with the highest level of economic development in China. Jiangsu's biomedical output value has maintained among the first place in China, accounting for about one-sixth of the country's total. And it also claims to one of the largest hubs for raising capital investment.

Who should attend?

Finnish companies in diagnostics, biotech/biomedicine, MedTech, and digital health sectors which consider China pharma and biomedicine companies as potential strategic or end customers.

NOTE: Kindly note that participation is limited to 10 companies on a ‘first come, first served’ basis (max 1 representative per company).

Preliminary program

Practicalities

To cover the expenses of arranging the trade mission program, the organizers will charge a participation fee.

  • Major Companies: 180 EUR + 25% VAT per person
  • Micro Businesses and SMEs: 160 EUR + 25% VAT per person

Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the delegate nor meals outside the delegation program.
