Business Finland and Finnvera are organizing a Trade Mission to Madrid, Spain on 9-10th December 2024 and to Porto, Portugal on 11-12th December 2024. Several concrete projects in hospital, water, waste to energy, railway and highway in Africa, Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia to be discussed with the EPCs.
Business Finland and the Finnish Export Credit Agency Finnvera help Finnish companies to participate in and WIN international Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) led infrastructure projects abroad. We connect global EPCs seeking advanced technology solutions with Finnish suppliers and offer Finnish Export Credit Financing solutions.
The financing of large-scale infrastructure projects is typically arranged by international banks. These banks seek risk mitigation from Export Credit Agencies (ECAs). Major projects could involve several ECAs each providing cover for their national exports. As the Finnish ECA Finnvera can participate in the financing by insuring the Finnish exports to the project.
This Trade Mission is also organized in collaboration with Business Tampere and partly financed by Interreg Central Baltic INGOs -project.
Who should attend?
Finnish companies who are willing to export to Europe, Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia in the sectors of hospital, water treatment, railway, highway and waste to energy.
Practicalities
To cover the costs of arranging the visit to Spain and Portugal, Business Finland will charge a participation fee. The participation fee has been divided per country and it is possible to choose in which country(ies) you would like to participate in, through the registration.
Spain
- Micro businesses and SMEs: EUR 170 + 25,5% VAT per person
- Major companies: EUR 200 + 25,5% VAT per person
Portugal
- Micro businesses and SMEs: EUR 170 + 25,5% VAT per person
- Major companies: EUR 200 + 25,5% VAT per person
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights, train tickets or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
