Join the Defense Trade Mission to Association of the United States Army’s Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA) in Washington, D.C on 13-15 October 2025, organized by the Team Finland network, Business Finland's Defense and Digital Resilience Program, the Dual Use Defense Technology Export Booster and Finnish Defense and Aerospace Industries, PIA.
The Association of the United States Army’s Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA) is North America's largest land power exposition and professional development forum. Both new market entrants and companies already active in the US are welcome to join, as it is one of the most important gateways to the U.S. Army and broader defense ecosystem, offering unique strategic, commercial, and diplomatic benefits. The program consists of pre-arranged meetings with key potential partners at the AUSA expo based on each company's interests. It primarily targets organizations across defense and security sectors, including government agencies, industry, and research organizations. Business Finland will facilitate several walkabouts of the AUSA expo grouped by company interests to help engage with key stakeholders. The program includes an evening networking reception at the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C., on October 14, hosted by Leena-Kaisa Mikkola, the Ambassador of Finland to the United States.
Further, an invitation-only investor session is organized in conjunction with the Trade Mission on October 14. Business Finland Investor Services, which connects Finnish growth companies with venture capital (VC) and corporate venture capital (CVC) investors, will host a defense and dual-use focused investor pitching session as part of the Trade Mission Networking Reception on October 14 at the Embassy of Finland in Washington D.C. The session will spotlight selected Finnish companies currently raising Series A, B, or C rounds, pre-selected by BF Investor services and with U.S. investors and industry experts. The audience will comprise of a curated group of U.S.-based VC and CVC investors active in the dual-use space. This visit is aimed at Finnish companies with prospects in the US and can provide products and services to the US Army either through an integrator or directly. High-technology solutions enabling superior capabilities for the warfighter are of particular interest. In addition, companies wishing to connect with investors and build strategic partnerships.
To cover the costs of arranging the visit to Washington D.C., USA, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
Note also that the participation fee does not include the ticket to AUSA, hence each company representative should register for the event separately and choose which ticket type/membership is the most suitable. The ticket sale for AUSA will open in late July. Business Finland will provide further information to the registered participants in August.
