Estonian company planning to set up a synthetic graphite and carbon nanotube production facility in Finland
Estonian deep-tech company UP Catalyst is advancing plans to produce battery-grade graphite and carbon nanotubes from CO₂ emissions in Finland. UP Catalyst and Finnish energy company Oulun Energia have signed a Letter of Intent for the utilisation of captured CO₂ emissions from one of Oulun Energia’s facilities in Oulu, Finland.

Ukrainian mayors meet with Finnish business leaders – working towards strategic cooperation
A delegation of more than 40 decision-makers aiming to revive the Ukrainian economy is currently in Finland. The aim of their five-day visit is to strengthen business between the countries. The World Bank has estimated that the cost of reconstruction in Ukraine has already exceeded EUR 500 billion.
