Business Finland has launched a funding call for POST-COVID-19 (Solutions for the next human high-impact pandemic) in cooperation with 11 Eureka countries. The call aims to provide solutions and preparedness for highly contagious human infectious disease pandemics which inflict a high impact on society.

The consortia must have members from two or more countries. The Eureka Call website describes the funding principles of each country and offers a brokerage tool for applicants. The submission portal for the joint application can also be found on the website. Go to Eureka Call website

This call is for international joint project partners from at least two different countries, see below the list of countries participating in this call. The project partners can be SMEs and large corporations as well as research organizations. Business Finland will allocate EUR 1 million for funding POST-COVID-19 projects, but larger projects can also be funded.

Business Finland can grant funding for Finnish partners in the joint projects consortia. National funding criteria and Business Finland's Co-innovation funding criteria will apply.

Schedule

  • Any Finnish partners of this POST-COVID-19 call must contact Business Finland by 15th June, 2020. National funding applications are submitted after the cluster evaluation stage, starting from August 2020 at the earliest. It is necessary to consult a Business Finland contact person for this call for further advice
  • The call closes 15th July, 2020
  • Projects are expected to start early 2021.
