Eureka Globalstars Taiwan Call 2025

Eureka network has opened an international joint call with Taiwan.

The R&D funding agencies in Taiwan (DoIT), Finland (Business Finland), Belgium (VLAIO), Lithuania (RCL), the Netherlands (RVO), and Poland (NCBR) are launching an Eureka Globalstars call.

Aim of the call

The call covers especially microelectronics, photonics and quantum technologies, with key applications including technologies for future telecommunications network generations, quantum-assisted high-performance computing, advanced sensors, and sustainable manufacturing technologies and products. Funding applications from other fields may also be approved.

Consortium

Companies and research organizations can participate in this call as part of an international consortium. Funding for research organisations (including university hospitals) requires that at least one Finnish company is involved in the same consortium with its own R&D project, which is applying for funding for its project from Business Finland. The total costs of research organisations may not exceed 60% of the total costs of the projects of Finnish research organisations and Finnish companies belonging to the same consortium.

Please contact Business Finland representative before sending the pre-proposal. In addition to following the guidelines of the international call, the applicants and projects need to follow the Business Finland funding terms and guidelines which can be found in the Business Finland website.

Schedule

Deadline for submission of Eureka R&D project application is 29.8.2025 at 17:00 Brussels time. The application is submitted on the Eureka portal.

Finnish project participants submit a separate application to Business Finland after the Eureka submission phase. This application must be submitted to Business Finland online service by 29.8.2025 at 23.59. Application template for companies: Research, Development and Piloting, or Co-Innovation.
