Baltic states healthcare system is undergoing number of changes. EU's recovery and resilience facility (RRF) drives new investments for strengthening healthcare infrastructure for comprehensive sustainable integrated health service and efforts to handle infectious diseases in the Baltic states. Several hospitals plan to improve their infrastructure and equipment availability for improved patient services. Just in Latvia investments worth €180 million will be targeted on seven regional and three university hospitals.
