This is the time to make the world a better place! You are most welcome to join us and hear how you can speed up green transition with the help of EU funding.

We will tell you about two significant EU innovation funding partnerships. In the 2023 funding call, there is approximately 10 million euros of funding for Finnish participants joining international innovation projects.

Clean Energy Transition Partnership

The funding call 2023 of Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP) is in its preparation phase. As in 2022, the call will be funding wide variety of energy and green transition related international research and development projects. There are numerous national and regional funding organizations involved from 30 different countries. In Finland, the funding organization is Business Finland. The preliminary budget of the funding call 2023 is about 135 M€.

The funding call opens during the fall so now is the right time to start preparing a consortium.

The thematic areas of CETP are

  • Integrated Net-zero-emissions Energy System
  • Enhanced zero emission Power Technologies
  • Enabling Climate Neutrality with Storage Technologies, Renewable Fuels and CCU/CCS
  • Efficient zero emission Heating and Cooling Solutions
  • Integrated Regional Energy Systems
  • Integrated Industrial Energy Systems
  • Integration in the Built Environment

Driving Urban Transitions

The DUT Partnership steps up the game to tackle urban challenges. The purpose of this Call is to support transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing urban challenges to help cities in their transition towards a more sustainable economy and functioning.

The challenges are grouped into three themes called Transition Pathways:

  • Positive Energy Districts (PED)
  • the 15-Minute City (15mC)
  • Circular Urban Economies (CUE)

Each proposal must involve, at least, three partners from three countries eligible for funding by their respective national/regional Funding Agency. The Call is opened to a wide range of scientific disciplines and welcomes interdisciplinary approaches. It intends to support a large range of activities, from research to innovation and implementation. The added value of transnational collaboration should be clearly stated.

DUT Call 2023 is funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme. The call is also part of the MICall 2023 to contribute the Urban Transition Mission of Mission Innovation.

Welcome to the webinar to hear more about the above mentioned programs! There is time reserved for discussion and Q&A. If you wish, you can also tell to which kind of projects you are in need of partners.
