Europe is undergoing a green transition, and know-how in solutions to improve sustainability are increasingly sought after. This creates new business opportunities especially for companies that can help the manufacturing industry lower their carbon footprint.

In Europe for example, French companies are currently looking for new concrete opportunities to improve sustainability in their operations. The manufacturing industry represents 10 percent of the French GDP, and the annual R&D investments are over 23 billion euros. One of the challenges in France is the moderately low level of digitalization especially among big and mid-size companies. This offers great opportunities for collaboration. Themes that often come up in discussions are energy-efficient machinery and automation, determination of emission levels and carbon footprint, capture of emissions and waste energy, energy storage, and different digital solutions.

Sustainable Manufacturing Finland is organizing two identical webinars to present these new business opportunities in the French manufacturing industry, and to offer more information on the planned trade mission to Paris. The first one will be organized on 17 January 2023 and the second one on 27 January 2023. Welcome aboard!

The webinars will be held in English.
