Business Finland China is organizing a maritime visit to Fuzhou and Xiamen on 19-22 December, 2021.
Business Finland China is inviting Finnish maritime companies in China to join a visit to Fuzhou and Xiamen. The purpose of the visit is to understand the development plans of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group and its key shipbuilding subsidiaries and to seek the cooperation opportunities for Finnish companies in the region. During the visit the delegation has a possibility to visit the vessel Viking Glory, that is ready for delivery, at the he Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry.
The program consists of a visit to the Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group and Mawei Shipyard in Fuzhou, Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry and Astro Ocean Cruise Company in Xiamen. During the visit you will hear the shipyards' introduction and three-year action plans for a "Maritime Fujian".
Who should attend?
This visit is aimed for Finnish maritime companies that are already present in China and identify themselves with equipment and solution providers in maritime industry, to shipyards, ship design companies and cruise operators. Due to the current travel restrictions, the visit is offered only to company representatives who are already located in China.
Kindly note, that if the participating company is not a Finnish company, participation requires that the Finnish company whose interests the Chinese company is representing as well as the relationship between the two companies, is specified in the registration form.
Participation
Business Finland is responsible for the business visit program. There are no foreseen costs for the arrangements of this visit program and therefore there is no participation fee for this visit. Kindly note that the meals, flights, transportation and/or accommodation shall be covered by the participant.
Please note that the maximum number of participants in the visit is limited by the Fuzhou and Xiamen hosts to a maximum of 15 company representatives on a first come - first served basis. Max 1 participant/company.
Participants that prior to this visit have travelled to a province with one or more confirmed local cases of COVID-19 during the previous 14 days, must present a negative nucleic acid test result obtained at least 48 hours prior to the visit. A green health code is needed as well.
