One of the top 10 business tracks in the Chinese healthcare industry, digital therapeutics (DTx), experienced exponential growth in 2021. Since then, DTx has attracted strong attention from Chinese investors, industry players, healthcare professionals, and academics and they have been working together to build up a DTx industry eco-system in China. By September 2021, there were already 17 DTx products registered with the Chinese National Medical Products Administration. The number of registered products has been increasing quickly in recent months.
From regulatory perspective, Hainan is leading DTx policy development in China. Hainan has set itself in ‘the Hainan Digital Health 14th Five Year Plan’ to become the national center of excellence of DTx solutions. And in a recently launched’ Measures to Accelerate the Development of DTx Industry in Hainan’, policy details are specified to support the whole life circle of DTx growth in China.

Business Finland China together with Smart Life Finland program invite Finnish digital health tech companies interested in the Chinese DTx market to participate in this online matchmaking event on Friday 18 November, 2022 at 07:30 – 11:30 (EET Finland) / 13:30 – 17:30 (CST China).
The matchmaking event will be organized as part of China National Digital Therapeutics Summit Forum in cooperation with China Association of Rehabilitation and Technology Transfer Promotion (CARTTP), a leading organization and think tank in the Chinese DTx sector. The goal of the matchmaking event is to promote Finnish offerings in digital health industry and enable matchmaking with key authorities and leading industry companies in the sector.
