Due to the "30.60" carbon target, the Chinese government is investing hugely in clean and renewable energy. China's grid system is under high pressure and therefore looking for flexible, smart and safe solutions.
This hybrid event; Finland-China Smart Energy Forum will be held in cooperation with China South Power Grid (CSG) and supported by the China Energy Administration (NEA). CSG is a major Fortune 500 SOE, which guarantees electrical power supply services for several provinces in South China including Hong Kong and Macao. The Company connects the power grids with the service area spanning more than one million square km². CSG is a major client for many Finnish companies, especially in smart and flexible grid sectors, that are the strongholds of Finland's energy offerings. Besides CSG, other Chinese energy companies will also be invited to the event.
There is also one China-Finland pilot project in energy, focusing on distributed clean energy generation. This project involves Finnish energy companies and one subsidiary of CSG. Hence clean energy is also one topic of this forum with the target of expanding the cooperation with CSG in this field.

This event is aimed for Finnish companies with advanced technologies and offerings for smart and flexible grid as well as smart energy solution in fields of energy efficiency and decarbonization.
Besides, Finnish companies with offerings in clean energy, such as hydrogen, energy storage and energy efficiency are also relevant to the event. Participation
Attendance to the hybrid event is free of charge, however, requires a pre-registration via the link above latest by 15 August, 2022. Kindly indicate if you will attend the meeting on-site or online.
This event will be held on-site in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. More detailed address will be sent to the registered on-site participants closer to the event. Webinar participants will receive a link to join the event in their e-mail one day prior to the event. The platform is Zoom.
Business Finland will inform the registered companies if they have been selected by the Chinese counterpart to give a company pitch. All interested participants are welcome to join the Forum as on-site/online participants.
