Suzano and Business Finland invite Finnish companies to visit eucalyptus plantations in Brazil and to propose technologies to improve its competitiveness. The focus areas of solutions needed are described in detail in the webinar on November 30, 2022 at 13.45-15.30 (EET Helsinki). Many of the needs are digital solutions of Smart Forestry applications.

The visit itself to the eucalyptus plantations in Brazil take place from Monday 6th to Friday 10th of February 2023. Join us to the visit to learn about the requirements of Suzano and discuss the proposed solutions.

The program in São Paulo state consist of field visits and workshops. The program covers the operations of plant nursery, planting, fire prevention, harvesting, logistics, planning and management. Thursday is dedicated to discussion with Suzano team(s) and Finnish suppliers about the specific challenges and proposed solutions. For Friday, there is a tentative plan to visit leading forestry research institute funded by plantation forest industries.
