In the EU’s new Africa strategy, there is a strong focus in Africa and cooperation between EU Member States. EU has allocated at least 30 billion € for projects in Sub-Saharan Africa for the next 7 years. Big part of the programming will take place in so called Team Europe Initiatives (TEIs), meaning that Member States can participate in the programming (i.e. planning of the projects) and financing. As a member State, we have good visibility in the upcoming projects, especially in countries like Kenya where Finland has strong presence.
One of the most lucrative countries in Africa to do business is Kenya. Digitalization, human development and green transition are priority sectors in Kenyan country strategy. European Union is also supporting Kenya in these sectors.
Please, join us to hear what kind of opportunities EU’s Team Europe Initiatives provide to companies in Kenya.
