As the second largest healthcare market in the EU, France offers many business opportunities for innovative healthcare solution providers. Not only has the Covid-19 health crisis highlighted the urgent need for an in-depth transformation of healthcare in France, but also accelerated the digitalization of healthcare resulting in a great demand for digital solutions across all healthcare sectors.
An ambitious healthcare modernization plan, Ségur de la Santé, was announced in France in 2020 as part of the French €100 bn recovery plan. The plan includes €19bn investments aiming at transforming healthcare services, upgrading medical and social care facilities, and modernizing the digital infrastructure as well as developing use of digital tools and remote solutions.
The Team Finland network will organize a business delegation visit to Paris, France on 18-20 January 2023. The objective of the delegation visit to France is to get to know the French digital health plan, key stakeholders and how healthcare providers are applying the latest technologies and digital solutions. This delegation program includes market visits, meetings, and a networking event all tailor-made for Finnish digital health providers. The visit will give companies the opportunity to meet and discuss with potential customers and business partners and to explore related business opportunities and gain valuable information in order to accelerate the market entry to France. The visit is led by Ms. Päivi Sillanaukee, Ambassador for Health and Wellbeing, Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

This Team Finland delegation visit is aimed at Finnish digital health providers focusing on telemedicine, remote care, preventive healthcare, diagnosis and AI, and new software and digital solutions in e.g., hospitals, elderly care, home care, private practices, medical laboratories, and pharmacies.
To cover the expenses of arranging the visit, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
