Preliminary program

Interested? Register by 12 September 2022!

In 2021 about 60% of Australia’s electricity was generated from coal. Yet it is possible to reach the climate goals of the new government – 43% reduction by 2030, Net Zero by 2050. Under the Step Change Scenario through to 2050 by Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) significant opportunities are highlighted in generation capacity, storage, firming generation, and transmission augmentations as coal generation withdraws. Market and technical reforms for system services are underway and two-way electricity flow will need to be addressed as more and more DER assets come online. Read more
