The Finnish Sustainable Growth Programme for the Transport Sector seeks new market opportunities together with Team Finland and ITS Finland. New series of webinars is a fresh start to push Finnish excellence to European emerging markets – especially targeted to smart and sustainable transport sector.
To recover from the coronavirus pandemic, the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), the biggest instrument of NextGenerationEU recovery package, makes available grants and loans, and the time for actions is now. European Union member states will allocate at least 85 billion euros to sustainable transport as a part of the national recovery and resilience plans to support the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. This includes e.g. digital railway infrastructure, charging stations for electric cars, and seamless urban mobility.
The aim of the growth programme is to promote investment and international growth in the sector through ecologically, economically and socially sustainable solutions, and thus to create international business ecosystems and 10,000 new jobs in the Finnish transport sector by 2025.
By this series of webinars we start active and systematic communication between exporting companies/ecosystems and European markets to better understand emerging opportunities and to find new business opportunities with new clients and local partners. This kick-off webinar will be followed by a set of webinars dedicated to most interesting markets. And the most potential markets will be selected for further promotion measures.
