On January 2022, the General Administration of Customs in China (GACC) Regulation on Registration and Administration of Foreign Manufacturers of Imported Food (Decree 248) and the Administrative Measures on Import and Export Food Safety (Decree 249) entered into effect.
Therefore, Team Finland China is organizing the China Food Manufacturer GACC CIFER System Registration Training and Clinic on Monday 27 March, 2023 at 9:00 – 12:00 (EET) Finnish time.
Manufacturers of food products that export to China need to undergo registration through the CIFER system and present a Chinese registration number at Customs clearance. Manufacturers with previous trade before 2021 in the 18 “high-risk” product categories must complete their registration by being recommended by the Finnish Food Authority by the 30th of June, 2023 to GACC through CIFER.
The deadline for sending the completed registration applications to the Finnish Food Authority is the end of April, 2023. Companies can send in their application to the Finnish Food Authority through the “application for modification” function in CIFER at any time before the deadline, preferably as soon as possible.
During the webinar we will cover the process and how to fill out your application. In addition, we will also briefly discuss how companies manufacturing low-risk category products can self-register through CIFER.

This training is directed toward companies that have previous trade with China and intend to continue exporting to China, and is especially suitable for manufacturers of oats, berries, supplements and health food. Training is welcome to all F&B companies which is interested to export to China.
