Business Finland together with Finnish Port Association are arranging a networking event to exchange best practices. We invite you to discuss opportunities and challenges that port faces as the offshore wind industry grows in Finland.

Ports are central and crucial to the development of offshore wind. They play the key role for the local supply chain, logistics and supporting infrastructure (e.g. storage of components). Ports are where operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms are run, where all offshore wind turbines and other equipment get transported, and where floating turbines are assembled. Furthermore they will have a prominent role in the production and distribution of renewable hydrogen.

Port of Esbjerg is the world’s largest base port for offshore wind activities and a front runner in the European offshore wind sector. We are delighted to have Jesper Bank, Chief Commercial Officer of Port of Esbjerg as our keynote speaker.
