Business Finland is organising a networking visit and B2B matchmaking event in Taipei, Taiwan on October 26-27, 2023. This in an invitation for Finnish companies in food & beverage industry that are interested in Taiwanese market to join the delegation.
Taiwan is a vibrant and dynamic market with a growing demand for high-quality, healthy, and sustainable food products. Taiwan's economy is one of the fastest growing in Asia. With a population of over 23 million people (around the same size as the whole Nordic countries) and a high per capita income, Taiwan is a lucrative market for food and beverage products. Taiwan is ranked as the one of the easiest places to do business in the world with a well-developed infrastructure, a highly skilled workforce, and a supportive government.
As a continuation to the Food from Finland visit to South Korea on October 23-24 (Registration Link for the NORDIC F&B WEEK 2023 in South Korea), Finnish companies have the opportunity to extend their visit to Taiwan on October 26-27 to explore another growing market in East Asia. The two-day program in Taiwan will provide the participants with the latest market information, opportunities for site visits to local retailers as well as participation in a Nordic matchmaking and networking event with local importers and distributors in food & beverage industry in Taiwan.
The target of the visit is to promote Finnish food & beverage products to Taiwanese buyers as well as to identify potential customers or partners in Taiwan. The aim is also to generate business contacts, receive valuable feedback and create business opportunities for Finnish food producers. The Finnish participants will get an adequate overview of the Taiwanese food market.

Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant, meals outside the business delegation program nor shipping costs of products and samples to Taiwan.
