Plant-based foods in the U.S. are a $7 billion market. Plant-based products are a key driver of sales growth at grocery retailers nationwide, growing almost twice as fast as overall food sales. Plant-based food sales in 2020 grew 2x faster than overall food sales.
According to recent surveys, 54 percent of Americans between ages 24 and 39 now consider themselves flexitarians.
