The number of nights spent by non-resident visitors was over one half higher than in the previous year

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the number of nights spent at accommodation establishments was on level with the previous year in October 2022.

In total, 1.37 million overnight stays were recorded for resident visitors and 0.31 million for non-resident visitors. The number of overnight stays increased most in Uusimaa, where overnight stays grew by one fifth from October 2021.
