Team Finland China visit to Chongqing & Chengdu

The focus of this visit is Industrial Digitalization (incl. automotive, digitalisation, intelligent manufacturing, robotics), Circular Economy (incl.W2E, metal recovery and industry water process etc.), and Health (MedTech, digital health). The delegation will be organized in cooperation with local governments and trade partners, such as local commerce bureau, local industry park and industry association.

Chengdu and Chongqing are the most important cities in West China. Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is one of the four major national level economic circles (Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, JingJinJi and Chengdu-Chongqing).

Chongqing is a national central city in terms of national advanced manufacturing base, the third largest automotive base, and comprehensive transportation hub. Chengdu stands out as the most dynamic city in terms of economic and cultural development.

Chengdu has established itself as a pivotal hub for advanced industries, particularly in electronic information, biopharmaceuticals, and high-tech manufacturing.

Chongqing and Chengdu, both designated as Low-Carbon Pilot Cities in China, are making significant investments in waste-to-energy technologies, battery recycling, and sustainable green construction.

This visit offers an exceptional opportunity for Finnish companies to connect and showcase their expertise to key industry players in Chongqing and Chengdu, including local authorities, industrial parks, key industry players, potential customers and industry associations.
